Made in China, February 25, 2012 By  Mattacl - See all my reviews This review is from: ALPS Mountaineering Phoenix 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season Sage/Coal, One Size (Misc.) Made in China says it all. I haven't got to use it outside yet but so far with a practice run, it takes just under 5 minutes to put together and tear down. Not sure who engineered the bottom but they put a seam in the middle of the floor, to their credit it is sealed. (The bottom really should have been one continuous piece.) It does offer a lot of tie downs to open up various flaps for ventilation. It is a stretch to get all the hooks on, and ends up deforming the tent slightly, I'm guessing this goes away when you put the ground stakes in. I was happy to see the packed dimension were actually less then the specs said; this allows it to fit nicely in my saddle bag.
